Walking Daily4

Snowdonia Outdoor is an independent guide to walking and hill-walking in Snowdonia (Eryri), North Wales. The idea is straightforward: clear, practical information for anyone heading into these hills, from first-time Snowdon walkers to people looking for quieter routes away from the crowds.

This domain has a long history. Around 2011 it belonged to a small outfit offering guided hill walks and climbing near Snowdon. The site later lapsed and changed hands, and for a while it drifted into generic walking articles with little connection to the place itself. This is a fresh start that puts Snowdonia back at the centre.

It helps to be clear about what this site is and is not. We are not a guiding company, we run no tours, and we sell nothing on the mountain. Snowdonia Outdoor is a website and nothing more: a place to find honest route notes, kit advice, and seasonal guidance for people who want to enjoy the Welsh hills safely.

The writing comes from real time spent on these paths. Articles are bylined Rhys Pritchard, a hill walker based in North Wales who knows Eryri well and writes for people planning their own days out.
